Ein Freund
„Wer ist dein Freund auf Reisen? Wer ist dein Freund im Haus? Wer ist dein Freund in der Not? Wer ist dein Freund im nächsten Leben?“
„Eine Karawane ist dein Freund auf Reisen. Die Mutter ist dein Freund im Haus. Ein Mitstreiter in Zeiten der Not ist immer wieder ein Freund. Aber das Gute, das du selbst getan hast, das ist dein Freund im nächsten Leben.“
A Friend
“Who’s your friend while journeying? Who’s your friend at home? Who’s your friend in need? Who’s your friend in the next life?”
“A caravan is your friend while journeying. Mother is your friend at home. An ally in a time of need is a friend time and again. But the good deeds you’ve done yourself— that’s your friend in the next life.”

“Kiṁsu pavasato mittaṁ, kiṁsu mittaṁ sake ghare; Kiṁ mittaṁ atthajātassa, kiṁ mittaṁ samparāyikan”ti.
