Die dreifache Zuflucht

Ehre diesem Gesegneten, dem Vollendeten, dem vollkommen erwachten Buddha!

Ich nehme Zuflucht zum Buddha, ich nehme Zuflucht zur Lehre, ich nehme Zuflucht zum Saṅgha.

Zum zweiten Mal nehme ich Zuflucht zum Buddha, zum zweiten Mal nehme ich Zuflucht zur Lehre, zum zweiten Mal nehme ich Zuflucht zum Saṅgha.

Zum dritten Mal nehme ich Zuflucht zum Buddha, zum dritten Mal nehme ich Zuflucht zur Lehre, zum dritten Mal nehme ich Zuflucht zum Saṅgha.

Homage to him, the blessed one, the perfected one, the fully awakened Buddha!

I take refuge in the Buddha, I take refuge in the Teaching, I take refuge in the Sangha.

For the second time I take refuge in the Buddha, for the second time I take refuge in the Teaching, for the second time I take refuge in the Sangha.

For the third time I take refuge in the Buddha, for the third time I take refuge in the Teaching, for the third time I take refuge in the Sangha.

Namo tassa Bhagavato Arahato Sammāsambuddhassa.

Buddhaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi, Dhammaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi, Saṅghaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi.

Dutiyampi buddhaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi, Dutiyampi dhammaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi, Dutiyampi saṅghaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi.

Tatiyampi buddhaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi, Tatiyampi dhammaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi, Tatiyampi saṅghaṁ saraṇaṁ gacchāmi.
