1. Das erste Kapitel
Vollständiges Verstehen von allem
Das wurde vom Buddha, dem Vollendeten, gesagt; das habe ich gehört:
„Mönche und Nonnen, ohne alles unmittelbar zu erkennen und vollständig zu verstehen, ohne dass die Leidenschaft für es schwindet und man es aufgibt, kann man das Leiden nicht beenden. Indem man alles unmittelbar erkennt und vollständig versteht, indem die Leidenschaft für es schwindet und man es aufgibt, kann man das Leiden beenden.“
Der Buddha sprach diese Sache. Dazu wird gesagt:
„Wer alles als alles kennt, bindet sich an nichts. Er versteht alles vollständig und hat sich über alles Leiden erhoben.“
Auch das ist eine Sache, die vom Gesegneten gesprochen wurde: Das habe ich gehört.
Chapter One
Complete Understanding of All
This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard.
“Mendicants, without directly knowing and completely understanding the all, without dispassion for it and giving it up, you can’t end suffering. By directly knowing and completely understanding the all, having dispassion for it and giving it up, you can end suffering.”
That is what the Buddha said. On this it is said:
“Those who know the all as all, are not attracted to anything. They completely understand all, and have risen above all suffering.”
This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard.
Paṭhamavagga
Sabbapariññāsutta
Vuttañhetaṁ bhagavatā vuttamarahatāti me sutaṁ:
“Sabbaṁ, bhikkhave, anabhijānaṁ aparijānaṁ tattha cittaṁ avirājayaṁ appajahaṁ abhabbo dukkhakkhayāya. Sabbañca kho, bhikkhave, abhijānaṁ parijānaṁ tattha cittaṁ virājayaṁ pajahaṁ bhabbo dukkhakkhayāyā”ti.
Etamatthaṁ bhagavā avoca. Tatthetaṁ iti vuccati:
“Yo sabbaṁ sabbato ñatvā, sabbatthesu na rajjati; Sa ve sabbapariññā so, sabbadukkhamupaccagā”ti.
Ayampi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutanti.
