2. Das zweite Kapitel
Schlechtes Verhalten
Das wurde vom Buddha, dem Vollendeten, gesagt; das habe ich gehört:
„Mönche und Nonnen, es gibt diese drei Arten von schlechtem Verhalten. Welche drei? Schlechtes Verhalten mit dem Körper, der Sprache und dem Geist. Das sind die drei Arten von schlechtem Verhalten.“
Der Buddha sprach diese Sache. Dazu wird gesagt:
„Nachdem er Schlechtes getan hat mit dem Körper, der Sprache und dem Geist, und was sonst noch verdorben ist;
nachdem er nichts Gutes und viel Schlechtes getan hat, wird dieser geistlose Mensch, wenn sein Körper auseinanderbricht, in der Hölle wiedergeboren.“
Auch das ist eine Sache, die vom Gesegneten gesprochen wurde: Das habe ich gehört.
Chapter Two
Bad Conduct
This was said by the Buddha, the Perfected One: that is what I heard.
“Mendicants, there are these three kinds of bad conduct. What three? Bad conduct by way of body, speech, and mind. These are the three kinds of bad conduct.”
The Buddha spoke this matter. On this it is said:
“Having done bad things by way of body, speech, and mind, and whatever else is corrupt;
not having done good deeds, and having done many bad, when their body breaks up, that witless person is reborn in hell.”
This too is a matter that was spoken by the Blessed One: that is what I heard.
Dutiyavagga
Duccaritasutta
Vuttañhetaṁ bhagavatā vuttamarahatāti me sutaṁ:
“Tīṇimāni, bhikkhave, duccaritāni. Katamāni tīṇi? Kāyaduccaritaṁ, vacīduccaritaṁ, manoduccaritaṁ— imāni kho, bhikkhave, tīṇi duccaritānī”ti.
Etamatthaṁ bhagavā avoca. Tatthetaṁ iti vuccati:
“Kāyaduccaritaṁ katvā, vacīduccaritāni ca; Manoduccaritaṁ katvā, yañcaññaṁ dosasaṁhitaṁ.
Akatvā kusalaṁ kammaṁ, katvānākusalaṁ bahuṁ; Kāyassa bhedā duppañño, nirayaṁ sopapajjatī”ti.
Ayampi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutanti.
