„Mönche und Nonnen, fünf Dinge sind schwer zu beseitigen, wenn sie einmal entstanden sind. Welche fünf? Gier, Hass, Täuschung, der begeisterte Drang, etwas zu sagen, und die Absicht, zu reisen. Diese fünf Dinge sind schwer zu beseitigen, wenn sie einmal entstanden sind.“
Hard to Get Rid Of
“Mendicants, these five things are hard to get rid of once they’ve arisen. What five? Greed, hate, delusion, the feeling of being inspired to speak out, and thoughts of traveling. These five things are hard to get rid of once they’ve arisen.”
Duppaṭivinodayasutta
“Pañcime, bhikkhave, uppannā duppaṭivinodayā. Katame pañca? Uppanno rāgo duppaṭivinodayo, uppanno doso duppaṭivinodayo, uppanno moho duppaṭivinodayo, uppannaṁ paṭibhānaṁ duppaṭivinodayaṁ, uppannaṁ gamikacittaṁ duppaṭivinodayaṁ. Ime kho, bhikkhave, pañca uppannā duppaṭivinodayā”ti.
