Lampen
„Mönche und Nonnen, es gibt diese vier Lampen. Welche vier? Die Lampe des Mondes, der Sonne, des Feuers und der Weisheit. Das sind die vier Lampen. Die beste unter den vier ist die Lampe der Weisheit.“
Lamps
“Mendicants, there are these four lamps. What four? The lamps of the moon, sun, fire, and wisdom. These are the four lamps. The best of these four lamps is the lamp of wisdom.”
Pajjotasutta
“Cattārome, bhikkhave, pajjotā. Katame cattāro? Candapajjoto, sūriyapajjoto, aggipajjoto, paññāpajjoto— Ime kho, bhikkhave, cattāro pajjotā. Etadaggaṁ, bhikkhave, imesaṁ catunnaṁ pajjotānaṁ yadidaṁ paññāpajjoto”ti.
