Was man pflegen soll
„Ich will euch den Grundsatz lehren, den man pflegen soll, und den Grundsatz, den man nicht pflegen soll. Hört zu … Und was ist der Grundsatz, den man nicht pflegen soll? Falsche Ansicht, falsches Denken, falsche Rede, falsches Handeln, falscher Lebenserwerb, falscher Einsatz, falsche Achtsamkeit, falsche Versenkung, falsches Erkennen und falsche Freiheit. Das nennt man den Grundsatz, den man nicht pflegen soll. Und was ist der Grundsatz, den man pflegen soll? Rechte Ansicht, rechtes Denken, rechte Rede, rechtes Handeln, rechter Lebenserwerb, rechter Einsatz, rechte Achtsamkeit, rechte Versenkung, rechtes Erkennen und rechte Freiheit. Das nennt man den Grundsatz, den man pflegen soll.“
Should Be Cultivated
“I will teach you the principle to cultivate and the principle not to cultivate. … And what is the principle not to cultivate? Wrong view, wrong purpose, wrong speech, wrong action, wrong livelihood, wrong effort, wrong mindfulness, wrong immersion, wrong knowledge, and wrong freedom. This is called the principle not to cultivate. And what is the principle to cultivate? Right view, right purpose, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right mindfulness, right immersion, right knowledge, and right freedom. This is called the principle to cultivate.”

“Āsevitabbañca vo, bhikkhave, dhammaṁ desessāmi na āsevitabbañca. Taṁ suṇātha …pe… katamo ca, bhikkhave, na āsevitabbo dhammo? Micchādiṭṭhi …pe… micchāvimutti— ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, na āsevitabbo dhammo. Katamo ca, bhikkhave, āsevitabbo dhammo? Sammādiṭṭhi …pe… sammāvimutti— ayaṁ vuccati, bhikkhave, āsevitabbo dhammo”ti.
